Stella Holt

A junior at Middlebury College in Vermont, Stella was one of 74 Nordic skiers in the country (!!) selected to compete in the NCAA’s 5k classic and 15k freestyle events. The events will be held on March 6th and March 8th, respectively, at Soldier Hollow Resort in Midway, Utah.

You can watch the championships by live webcast at NCAA.com. (At the time of this writing, that link wasn’t working, yet. It may go live closer to the championship.)

Adding to her accomplished season is Stella’s Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) award on February 5th of Skier of the Week.

Connor Gray

Also from Whitefish, and a high school senior skiing for the Bridger Ski Foundation in Bozeman this year, Connor qualified for the Junior Nationals. He was the third out of 12 qualifiers from his Intermountain Division.

The Junior Nationals will be held at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, from Monday, March 3rd, through Saturday, March 8th. Connor will compete in the classic sprint and distance events, as well as a skate (distance unknown at time of this writing) and skate relay events.  Another season highlight for Connor was his 6th place finish out of more than 100 skiers in classic sprints at the Soldier Hollow Super Qualifier event.
