Welcome to the shop
Glacier Nordic Club is a Montana community Nordic ski club located in beautiful Whitefish, MT, offering ski lessons for all ages. We groom and maintain trails in four public locations: the Glacier Nordic Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course (12k); the Meadow Lake Nordic Trails by Meadow Lake Resort in Columbia Falls, the Big Mountain Nordic Trails (26k) by Whitefish Mountain Resort, and Round Meadow Nordic Trails, of which is a grooming partnership with the Forest Service. We also groom a non-public 1km loop for the Muldown Elementary School PE Class. Purchasing your trail pass or club membership helps to support operations for all venues.

A Season Membership or day pass is required to ski at the Golf Course.

Purchase your day pass in one of two ways:
At the Glacier Nordic Shop located at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course
Open 9:30–5:30 Monday through Saturday • 9:30–4:00 on Sundays.
Or During the Shop’s off-hours: drop your fee into the drop box attached to the Nordic Center building.

Ski Lessons at Glacier Nordic Center
Group Lessons
Tuesdays and Saturdays
First-timer/Beginner Level
SKATE: 10:30 am
CLASSIC: Noon
Please call at least 24 hours in advance to book lessons.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the lesson to rent skis and take care of the payment. Bring water and a snack.
There is no water or food at Glacier Nordic Center, but the restaurant at Grouse Mountain Lodge is accessible from the trails.

Private Lessons
Please call at least 48 hours in advance to book private lessons.

DREAM Adaptive Recreation Nordic Lessons
DREAM offers adaptive equipment and trained instructors to support your Nordic ski goals.
To learn more and start the lesson registration process, please email programs@dreamdaptive.org. Lessons must be scheduled at a minimum of seven days in advance.
Financial Aid Scholarships are available.
