Teen Adventure
2026-2027 Program information, skiing levels, and registration.
Teen Adventure is for skiers interested in focusing on general fitness and improving technique.
Teen Adventure is an opportunity for skiers to gain the skills needed to explore the nordic ski trails in the Whitefish area. We will meet at the Glacier Nordic Center as well as other trailheads nearby (within 20 minutes drive).
Students of all levels are welcome to join. This is a great space for those new to nordic. This group is open to upper middle and high school students (age 12 and older).
You’re welcome to join for one day a week (picking either classic on Tuesdays or skate on Thursdays) or join for both days. Classic ski day will be on no-wax skis, if you choose to use waxable skis, you are in charge of waxing yourself before practice.

FAQs
Generally, practice will be held at the Glacier Nordic Center. However, the Big Mountain trails and other local ski areas will be used as well. Schedules will be emailed out ahead of time so you know where the team is meeting.
Participant Ages
This group is open to U14 (age 12 and older) skiers.

Classic Skiing: Tuesdays
Tuesdays, 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm, January 5 – Feb 16, 2027

Skate Skiing: Thursdays

What to Bring & Equipment Needed
Limited rentals are available for Teen Adventure participants. At this age, kids are encouraged to have their own gear. Rentals through GNST are $105 for one set, or $165 for both skate and classic.

Scholarship Information
Scholarships are available for both Rentals and Tuition.

Applicants will be notified by email no later than December 30, 2025. Awarded scholarships will be refunded to the household account payment method. If you need to spread out your payments, please select our monthly payment option.
